Melissa is a Class 3 Energy Gauge Rater and oversees much of the green building aspects of their projects. She handles much of the company’s administrative functions, such as grant writing, permitting, coordinating scheduling, completing draw requests from funders and general organizational tasks. Her background includes a Masters degree in Community Development and five years doing consumer advocacy reporting at the Miami Herald. She also has many years of working with various nonprofit organizations, ranging from leadership development to the arts. These experiences help bring a human perspective to Adanac’s work.
